JOIN US! BE PART OF HISTORY IN THE MAKING

Though our climate cuisine offerings will not be available until the spring harvest of 2021, you can become a member of the world’s first Community-Supported Kelp Crop (CSKC) project today.

What is a CSKC?

It’s a close cousin to a CSA and works the same way. Learn more about those fundamentals. Sign up below to reserve your share of the best ‘tender leaf’ sugar kelp (Saccharina latissima) that New York State’s regenerative ocean farmers will be growing this winter and harvesting next spring.

WHY SHOULD YOU EAT MORE KELP?

Not only does it aggressively capture carbon, sugar kelp is a nutrient dense super food packed with vitamins and minerals. It’s also delicious in soups, salads and dozens of other preparations.
Watch this short video of ocean farmer Bren Smith as he demonstrates an easy way to make a delicious kelp-based dish.

Fill out the form below to receive a new member application and become part of the first Community-Supported Kelp Crop (CSKC) project in history.
